Russ Carnahan's
campaign regarding
the Missouri Fourth
Senate District
Primary Election:
Senator
Pat Dougherty has
well served the
residents of Missouri's
Fourth Senate District
over the past five
years. Before that
Congressman Carnahan's
colleague Lacy Clay
also served the
district with great
distinction.
With
Senator Dougherty
facing retirement,
it is not surprising
that several talented
Democrats filed
to run.
Congressman
Carnahan does
not support any
one candidate
over another in
the Democratic
primary election
in Missouri's
Fourth Senatorial
District. Nor
is any member
of the Carnahan
family or campaign
staff supporting
any of the candidates
in the primary.
Recently
printed rumors
suggesting Congressman
Carnahan is supporting
any candidate
in the race are
incorrect.
Russ
has multiple friends
and former Missouri
House colleagues
in the race. He
wishes all the
candidates the
best of luck and
looks forward
to continuing
his work with
each of them after
the election.
